Date:

Tajikistan is one of the top nations with sambo as a competitive sport. The nation finds it imperative for its athletes to be diligent and have outstanding qualities. The most skilled sportspeople get titles dedicated to their names and can participate in advanced roles. As one of these adept contenders, Navruzmakhmad Sanoev has proven to have an aptitude for the judo and sambo disciplines to serve honorary roles for several federations.

Quality Athleticism in Action

Since his birth on March 18, 1970, Sanoev has been serving his home country as a combatist in the sambo and judo disciplines. In 1997, he was instituted into the Tajikistan National Sambo Team for his physical abilities and technical and athletic mastery of the sport until 2006. He earned the title of Assistant Head Coach, where he was responsible for training his cohorts in the art of sambo and optimizing their wrestling techniques.

As a five-time Tajik Sambo champion, Navruzmakhmad competed in national and international tournaments. From 1997 to 2016, he fought in sambo and judo tournaments, earning the podium many times. In the 1997 and 2000 Republican Gushtin Giri events in Khujan, Tajikistan, he acquired a gold medal. His sambo expertise won him gold and silver prizes in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2016, Sanoev’s professionalism soon took him to international championships in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and the United States, where he placed on the podium many times.

The 2005 World Sambo Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan, gave Sanoev a publication called “Sambo Is Not For Sale” in Varzish-Sport, Tajikistan’s most prominent sports publication. Out of six Tajiks, he was the only one to earn a podium finish in his weight category. In the account published on November 24, 2005, Sanoev revealed he did not give in to bribery to acquire money. If he had lost a sambo match, his competitors would have given him money, but instead, he fought a fair game to demonstrate his integrity and loyalty to his sport.

Navigating the Top of His Field

Navruzmakhmad illustrated his martial arts competency not only in the arena but also in executive functions. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Sambo Federation of the Republic of Tajikistan team captain. He practiced exemplary organizational and educational skills, training his group to compete at a national and international grade. In 2006, the government of the Republic of Tajikistan recognized his athletic brilliance and gave him the title Master of Sport in International Class in Sambo. Only the most successful athletes were candidates for this nominal title, and he had proven outstanding in the sambo sector.

Sanoev was given a job as a judge for official judo and sambo championships from 2007 to 2009, a remarkable feat. In this position, he was accountable for the occurrences of every match, from the referees to the players themselves.
